Legal Owl

I recently collaborated with the web team I work with to design this website called Online Legal Advice. My input (surprise!) was the owl mascot design. It was so much fun! I love the clean modern design of the rest of the site too by the web team at Winston Solicitors. I have lovingly named him Cyril, I'm not sure why! The website has an Online Legal Twitter account too which I run.

The home page where you can ask Cyril any question.

This page is my favourite although you shouldn't ever get to see it! the 404 page.

Happy Cyril when you've sent him a question!

Saltaire Arts Trail | Alexia Claire

At the beginning of May I took part in the Maker's fair at the Saltaire Arts Trail. It was my first time taking part although I have visited it many times and always wanted to have a stall here. It was a great experience and everyone did very well. I saw some familiar faces and made new maker friends too. I'll be back next year!

I have a newsletter that you can sign up to now, you will receive a free how to guide for printing from your own home, with easily found materials.

I had lots of lovely compliments from people passing by about my basket - plant combo. My baskets make great plant holders!

Don't forget you can get any of my laptop sleeves custom made to fit your laptop size. Or maybe you want an iPad or Kindle cover? No problem! Go and take a peek

Alexia Claire at ReetSweet Sheffield

A couple of months ago I had a stall at the ReetSweet Sheffield event in the Millenium Gallery. It was a great venue with an awesome selection of designer makers. The sun beamed through the enormous windows all day and there was a very steady flow of visitors. I would definitely do it again!

My new printed tote bags all sold out! They definitely went down well. Look out for more of these in my Folksy and Etsy Shops.

I tried a new fan shape display of my baskets this time.

This was the lovely Moonko's stand. Debbie of Moonko won the best stall of the day. It was my first time meeting her but we have been talking for quite some time and my work is featured on the Moonko Website.

Folksy Friday | Post Jubilee Blues

Has anybody else had post Jubilee bank holiday blues the last part of this week? I have! I had a lovely relaxing weekend with friends, music and of course watching the Jubilee celebrations on the telebox. So I thought it would be quite fitting for this week's Folksy Friday to represent all the fabulous rich navy blues I have been seeing everywhere in the run up to the Jubilee.

Snooker Loopy

As promised, here are some more photographs from my annual trip to the Crucible in Sheffield to see the World Snooker Championship final. I love going, I'm a bit of a secret fan and I was over the moon that Ronnie O'Sullivan was in the final. He's amazing to watch!

We were guests of Betfred, so were able to relax in the sponsor VIP lounge with a couple of famous faces! I met Dennis Taylor and his family again, he's such a friendly bloke. He made time to sit and chat to everyone in the lounge.

We had great seats for both of the day's sessions and were spoilt rotten by Betfred! An awesome day and I look forward to next year's.
