Folksy Friday (on a Saturday!)

Yep, I know I'm a day late, but I was working and then travelling back to Leeds from London last night! Speaking of which, my theme for this week's Folksy Friday is London. I have been living in London for the past month, living all over the place from Twickenham to Fulham. So here are a few lovely Folksy findings which take a different approach to the theme, London!

Firstly, Bookity have this lovely brooch made from real maps of central London, my favourite aspect being that 221b Baker Street is at it's centre!

Secondly, Teresa Robertson screen prints these lovely playful cards with stencil cut red London buses. As you may know, I like a bit of screen printing!

Thirdly, London Clay Birds create this cute little clay birds made from London clay. A great concept.

Stitch Knits provide this lovely PDF for cross stitching your own London tube map.

Lastly, this beautiful lambswool taxi pattern cushion by Sally Nencini really caught my eye.

Alexia Claire at the Headingley Arts Trial

Alexia Claire will be one of 80 artists featured in the Headingley Arts Trail this year!

It is run by The Bowery in Headingley and artists and designer's work and products can be found at various locations throughout Headingly, I have luckily been allocated to The Bowery itself!

So if you are from or in the area be sure to get yourselves down to Headingley and follow the trail! Here is the website for more information and locations.

My good friend William Schofield will also be showcasing his amazing photography prints on the trail too so keep a look out for them, and for us both probably having stopping for a pint along the way!

Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair

I am very pleased to announce that my 2011 Christmas Range of screen printed bunting and cute storage baskets will be on sale at the Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair! It begins tomorrow (Wednesday 9th Nov) and will be on until Sunday. Where else better than here to do your Christmas shopping all in one go!

My stock will be displayed at stand number E19 which is upstairs in the Business Design Centre, Islington, London. The lovely owners of BumbleBee Toys have this stand and they sell beautifully, ethically made wooden toys and many other children's toys that have been sourced within the UK and Europe, nothing is designed or manufactured elsewhere.

You can visit Bumblebee Toys' website here, and how to find them at the Country Living Fair here. I will be personally going to visit the show on Friday and can't wait! Photos to follow soon!
